Enjoyable Exercise

Enjoyable Exercise:  Hiking up a canyon to waterfalls and mountain tops with my Mom each morning (even with our 7/7:30 start time) amidst pines, creeks, rocks and shale, wildflowers and gorgeousness.(Trust me, my legs and glutes are feeling today's hike.)
Less enjoyable exercise: stair-steppers and sit-ups in my bedroom.

Enjoyable exercise:  lifting nieces and nephews into my arms daily, catching them in pools, spinning them in circles, and carrying them all over the place, nonstop.  I flexed his week, and actually saw definition. ;)
Not so enjoyable exercise: lifting the other kind of weights.

I've been loving my time at home, and have found that certain types of exercise motivate me even more, or are at least more enjoyable.  I need to find me some of these things back in Ohio. ;)  Here's to the search, and until then, enjoy that workout!

(P.S. Enjoyable exercise: Faith and hope.  Going to the temple with a friend, speaking about faith with family and friends, and most importantly, with the Lord.
Not enjoyable exercise: Trying to go at it alone.
The first of these two has been the best and most wonderful workout out there. ;) )
